Our Front of House Course covers the essential rules of working in the service & hospitality industry.
The Front of House Course is ideal for junior restaurant waiters and wine stewards in the industry. The course covers different wine styles and aims to create a better understanding of the type of wines dealt with on a daily basis. We encourage that candidates bring a copy of their own wine list to to ensure a greater depth of knowledge of the wines they are serving. Also included in the course is service & storage of wine as well as sales terminology and food & wine recommendations. Courses can be run at Abingdon Wine Estate or alternatively, at one's own establishment over a 6 hour period.
